-- Introduction to Chess is a course designed for kids interested in chess with a beginning level (without a USCF rating or with a USCF rating <600). Each class period is composed of instructions followed by students playing in small tournament games. Chess will help your child develop skills for math, science and sports by learning how to break the problems into steps and to play games competitively.

Five boys represented Xilin North Shore Chinese School and won the first place at US Junior Open Game. US Junior Open Game is a national event and was held in Schaumberg, IL this year. The team is named "team X". X is the first letter of our school name.
